Read articles by Frank Schiavone concerning some of the problems of government and conservation of our natural environment. Frank lives in Southern California. There like many other places newer areas for houses are often carved out of the foothills of the mountains. This displaces the animals there and oftentimes ruins the scenery with out-of-place houses and buildings.
Local city politicians often only seem to care about bringing in more money into the city via taxes on “improved property” or getting their pet projects approved. These and other reasons push conservation and ecology issues aside. Frank is very vocal about this. You will find some of his writings here and in the local newspapers in San Bernardino County, California.
